Everyday, Harvard Kennedy School students, faculty, staff, and alumni are inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s call to service, “Ask what you can do.” So, too, is the Harvard Kennedy School Dean’s Council. A core group of advisors and friends, the Dean’s Council is dedicated to helping Dean David T. Ellwood advance the Kennedy School’s mission of public leadership.
Founded in 1994, the Dean’s Council comprises a diverse group of individuals from around the world. Members include leaders in government, business, finance, law, and other fields of endeavor. Many have served as advisors to governments, public commissions, and nonprofit institutions. As members of the Dean’s Council, these leaders:
