The Thomas C. Schelling and Richard E. Neustadt Awards for Public Policy, named after two of Harvard Kennedy School's founding faculty members, recognize individuals who have had a significant impact on public policy through scholarship or practice.
This $25,000 award is presented annually to an individual who has created powerful solutions to public problems, drawing on research and intellectual ideas as appropriate.
2007 Recipient: Justice Richard J. Goldstone
2006 Recipient: Dr. Muhammad Yunus
2005 Recipient: Dr. Judith M. Gueron
This $25,000 award is presented annually to an individual whose remarkable intellectual work has had a transformative impact on public policy.
2007 Recipient: Professor Jagdish Bhagwati
2006 Recipient: Professor Daniel Kahneman
2005 Recipient: Judge Richard A. Posner
