HKS Alumni Association Board of Directors

HKS Alumni are represented by a volunteer board of twenty alumni, ten of whom are elected bi-annually by the alumni body to serve a four-year term. In partnership with the Alumni Relations Office, Board members strengthen and foster alumni connections with one another and with the School by promoting alumni engagement around the world. Members are actively involved in adding new content and features to the alumni web site, developing regional alumni associations, advising students and fellow alumni on career paths and professional choices, recruiting new students, and participating in class reunions.

The Board’s committee structure reflects its current priorities: Fundraising (increasing alumni participation); Alumni Awards (honoring alumni achievement); Marketing and Branding (increasing visibility of the School and Alumni Association); Virtual Connections (contributing new web content and features for and about alumni); Career Advancement (providing career guidance and advice to students and alumni). The effort dedicated to achieving the goals established by these committees benefits HKS alumni and students alike – ultimately enriching the HKS alumni community worldwide.

Members attend two meetings a year, serve on at least two committees or initiatives and are actively engaged in alumni activities and outreach in their regions throughout the year. The Board of Directors plays an important and valued role in keeping the Kennedy School alumni network connected, engaged and informed.
