Welcome to the website for the New England Alumni Association for Harvard’s Kennedy School. As the only Kennedy School regional alumni association fully incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we strive to reach out to the more than 4,000 New England alums by providing access to resources, activities, program offerings and seminars that keeps us connected to the Kennedy School. Our mission is fourfold:
1. Support the educational and public service missions of Harvard’s Kennedy School;
2. Educate Kennedy School alumni, professionals working or volunteering in the public interest and interested members of the public on public policy issues and skills for advancing the public interest,
3. Inspire Kennedy School alumni to promote the public interest through participation in professional or volunteer activities; and
4. Encourage and foster collaboration among the professionally and geographically diverse alumni of the Kennedy School of Government.
The New England Alumni Association for Harvard’s Kennedy School is growing in a new and bold direction. Our aim is to substantially increase the participation rate among our New England KSG alumni through more effective communication tools, expanded programming and more opportunities and events to stay professionally connected. We encourage you to explore our new website and take advantage of the numerous new features, such as the ability to register for events and seminars online, participate in active discussion forums, access the events calendar, search our member directory, and much more.
The common link among by our New England alums is a shared appreciation and understanding of the special KSG experience. Our goal is to reconnect you, through our program and activity offerings, to the Kennedy School experience that has shaped us all professionally and personally. So if you are an alumni of Harvard’s Kennedy School located here in New England, and you have not yet had the opportunity to participate in our many programs and activities, we would like to hear from you.
Sincerely,
John J. McLaughlin, Jr. MPA 1988
