On the campus of Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, The John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum is the premier arena for political speech, discussion and debate. The Forum regularly hosts heads of state; leaders in politics, government, business, labor, and the media; academics; community organizers; and artists. A unique and important feature of the Forum is the requirement that all speakers participate in a question and answer session with members of the audience, a practice that invariably results in lively exchanges. In this spirit, the HKS Club of the United Kingdom launched the HKS Forum in London speaker series in 2008.
The HKS Forum in London speaker series invites leading thinkers, politicians, and international statesmen to address local Kennedy School alumni. These meetings provide a great opportunity for Kennedy School alumni community to remain engaged in debates on key international policy issues and also to network and exchange views with each other.
The HKS Forum in London events take place in the evening over dinner at a venue in central London. The audience is comprised of Harvard alumni, faculty, and their invited guests.
The HKS Forum in London speaker series is led by Oksana Antonenko MPP 1995 (Oksana_Antonenko@post.harvard.edu) and John Canady MPA 2004 (John_Canady@post.harvard.edu). Please contact them if you have any questions or suggestions for future speakers.
