James Carras MC/MPA 1980

James Carras is Principal of Carras Community Investment, Inc. where he provides community and economic development advisory services to public, private and alternative sector clients. He also has taught community and economic development courses at Harvard University (IOP Study Groups), M.I.T., Tufts University and most recently at Florida Atlantic University. He has served as the Founding Executive Director of the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders, the Founding President of the Broward Housing Partnership and the South Florida Community Land Trust. Before attending the Kennedy School, he served as a Community Development Advisor to the Mayor of Boston and was the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Urban Reinvestment Advisory Group.
