Michelle Cini is Pierre Keller Visiting Professor (January 1-June 30 2014). She is Professor of European Politics in the School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies, at the University of Bristol, UK. She is currently co-editor (with Amy Verdun) of the Journal of Common Market Studies (JCMS). She is co-editor (with N. Perez-Solorzano Borragan) of the text-book European Union Politics, published by Oxford University Press (4th edn. 2013). Her research is on the European Union institutions and on EU policy-making. She has research interests in public ethics, institutional change, and inter-institutional decision-making, as well as on EU competition policy, Britain and the EU, and Maltese politics. She has written extensively on the European Commission and on the politics of European competition (anti-trust).
