Todd Olmstead is Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy and teaches courses in statistics. He is also Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut's School of Medicine, where he conducts economic analysis and health services research on topics related to substance abuse treatment, including the cost-effectiveness of different types of treatments, the impact of managed care on treatment availability, and the availability of treatments for special populations. He received his PhD in public policy from the Kennedy School in 2000. His other degrees are in engineering and operations research.
