Yoel Inbar, Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy, received his Ph.D. in social and personality psychology from Cornell University in 2008. In addition to teaching at the Kennedy School, he is a post-doctoral researcher in the Harvard Decision Science Lab. His research interests include how emotion affects our beliefs, attitudes, and choices; and how we think about emotion, both as a factor in our own decisions and as an explanation of the actions of others. Some of Yoels recent projects have examined the influence of disgust sensitivity on our political beliefs, the way perceived emotionality affects blame, and why people choose to make decisions intuitively or rationally.
