Carr Center Fellow Siddharth Kara is sent by the U.S. Department of State on a twelve-day trip to Southeast Asia to meet with officials in Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries to discuss how to combat human trafficking more effectively. In addition to meeting with government officials, Kara's schedule will include lectures at major universities and U.N. offices.
