    While the Center welcomes project proposals on any human rights-related topic for the Carr Center general fellowship, this year preference will be given to areas of scholarship consistent with the Carr Center's focus on:
      1) human trafficking;
      2) gender, sexuality, and human rights (including LGBT rights);
      3) the human rights to water and sanitation;
      4) human rights education

    The statement should explain how the project will add to the body of knowledge about human rights policy, outline your qualifications to complete this research, and describe the methods you will use to carry out the project.  Please put your name on each page of the statement, entitle it “Academic/Scholar Fellowship Application Statement.”
