Hamid Karzai

Rory Stewart, Director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy and the Carr Center's new “State-building and Human Rights in Afghanistan and Pakistan” program, is delighted to be hosting His Excellency President Hamid Karzai at Harvard Kennedy School's Forum.

The Forum address by President Karzai is the second public event of the Carr Center's new initiative on Afghanistan. The program recently hosted a large policy conference in Washington, DC featuring U.S. Ambassador Richard Holbrooke and nearly 120 experts to discuss U.S. policy toward the region. The Forum address by President Karzai is the first of many Carr Center sponsored programs highlighting analysis and debate about Afghanistan.
