Session Overview:

This session will discuss the intersection of disability scholarship and disability advocacy and what role academics can play in fostering disability human rights in theory and practice. The speaker, who participated in the drafting of the UN Disability Rights Treaty, has worked on projects in some 40 countries, and has published nearly 100 academic pieces, will draw on his experiences. He is also a faculty at Harvard Law School among a number of academic appointments.
