Current Seminar Series
During Spring 2012, the gender and security seminar series will examine the promises and challenges of the new US National Action Plan and Executive Order on Women, Peace and Security. We will pay close attention to the link between gender equality, and peace and security, and examine its relevance to today's changing security landscape.
The Gender and Security Seminar will be held on Mondays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and last 60-minutes, with a combination of practitioner lecture and Q&A.
Sahana Dharmapuri, Fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, is the creator of the Gender and Security Seminar series. She has led the seminar since 2011.
