Kate Wright Apfelbaum is the Associate Director of Communications and Events at the Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University.
Prior to joining Harvard in 2022, Kate worked in education communications and research at Brooke Charter Schools and Education Resource Strategies. In these roles she oversaw multichannel communications, conducted research on teacher shortages, supported teacher recruiting strategies, and ran career exploration programs.
Kate holds an MPhil in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and a BA from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
