As Secretary and CEO of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation from November 2009 to September 2011, Jeffrey Mullan took on a variety of difficult issues, including creating a unified transportation agency from previously separate entities, trying to address large funding short falls for both transit and highways, and responding to ongoing concerns with the Big Dig.
