Steps to Apply for All Incoming Applicants and Returning Domestic Students

For all incoming students as well as returning domestic students, the following steps must be taken to apply for financial assistance.

Step 1: Complete application through MYFAID

Login to MYFAID.  Click on "Apply Online" tab at top of page and complete the application.  You will be directed to a page that says, "Application completed successfully."  If you are not directed to that page, review your application for missing information and resubmit.

Please note: You must use the Student ID and PIN that were emailed to you by the Student Financial Services Office. Only Internet Explorer is supported.

Step 2: Complete additional documents

Within two business days after completion of Step 1, the "Documents" tab will appear in MYFAID with a personalized list of documents you must submit based on the answers you submitted on your application. You can also access these dcouments through the "Forms" tab in MYFAID.

For all domestic students, we strongly encourage you to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the school code E00215, beginning January 1, 2008 and prior to the appropriate deadline in order to be fully considered for all financial assistance, including merit fellowships with a financial need component.

If you have not filed your taxes, you should complete the FAFSA using estimated information and correct the data once you have filed.
