International and Global Affairs Concentration

Beginning in fall 2008, Harvard Kennedy School Master of Public Policy (MPP) students will have the opportunity to participate in an innovative and intensive concentration in International & Global Affairs (IGA) while completing their MPP degree. The IGA concentration will train the next generation of policy leaders to tackle the complex issues of a globalizing world.

Taught by HKS’s leading scholars of world affairs, the IGA concentration will provide intensive training to students preparing for careers addressing international and global challenges and governance, including international security, human rights, energy security, environment and resource systems, public health, and information systems.

The concentration is intended for individuals seeking to become internationally focused policymakers in national, regional, and local government agencies, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and multinational corporations.
