Deadlines

There are two rounds of SIF and HIDIF awards. You may submit your application for Carr Center and/or CBG grants in the first round, but please be advised that the Carr Center and CBG deadline is April 10, so they will make all decisions after the second April 10 deadline. Usually about half of SIF and HIDIF available funds are awarded in the first round. Applications that meet SIF/HIDIF criteria but are not funded in the first round, along with any new submissions, will be considered in the final second round of decisions.

2009 Deadlines

Round 1 – Friday, March 6 at 5pm
Round 2 – Friday, April 10 at 5pm

The Selection Committees reserve the right to grant less than the amount of funding requested and may reduce the total grant awarded should other support be received above projected need. Due to the limited amount of available funding, grants may be denied or reduced if other summer funding is received.

Students will be notified of the decision on their application approximately two weeks after the deadline.
Awards from both rounds will be distributed at the same time in mid-May.
