Search for a Job in JACK

Connect to Opportunities

JACK: Jobs and Careers for the Kennedy School is the Office of Career Advancement (OCA)'s comprehensive job bank and career management system available to alumni throughout their careers. Thousands of high caliber jobs, fellowships, and summer internships are posted in JACK every year. JACK also provides access to an extensive database of employers working in areas of interest to our students and graduates.

To access JACK and explore opportunities:

  1. Register or log in to JACK using your alumni.harvard username and password to access your personal JACK home page. (New alumni: soon after graduation, your new alumni credentials and not your student PIN will access your JACK account.)
  2. Complete the registration form or update your profile. Upon login, first-time JACK users will be asked to complete a registration/profile page. Alumni who had a student account in JACK will not need to complete a registration form; your student account will be accessed directly with your alumni credentials.
  3. Explore JACK. View jobs, create job search agents that deliver daily/weekly emails, upload your resume into your personal document library, research employers, and find career development resources.

Note: If you wish to post a job on JACK, you will need to register as an employer. This is true even if you are already registered as a job seeker.

For more detailed instructions, refer to the JACK User Guide available under the "resources for alumni" tab in JACK.

As you conduct your job search, please be aware that scams on the Internet include fraudulent job postings designed to draw an unsuspecting job searcher into disclosing confidential financial/personal information. Although all job postings are screened by an OCA staff member and approved before posting, it is possible that a fraudulent posting could get through. If you have concerns about the legitimacy of an announcement, please bring it to the attention of the OCA staff.
