The Committee on General Scholarships (CGS) at Harvard University administers scholarship, fellowship, and loan funds that provide financial assistance to Harvard students. CGS offers restricted scholarships that may be awarded to students in any faculty in the university, including the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). These scholarships are restricted to applicants who are residents of particular localities or descendants of specified families and the questions regarding eligibility are included in the online Application for Financial Assistance.
Admitted students applying for need-based consideration will be eligible for these scholarships. A list of opportunities is available on the Harvard University Committee on General Scholarships web site. However, applications are submitted directly to the HKS at the time of consideration for admission to the school.
Mid-Career MPA applicants please note: Mid-Career MPA students must have submitted all materials for their application for admission by the fellowship deadlines below to be considered for either the Zuckerman or the Reynolds fellowships. No exceptions can be made.
Candidates for the Zuckerman Fellows Program are individuals who have, or are pursuing, a graduate degree in business, law, or medicine who want to earn an additional degree from the Harvard Kennedy School. Fellows must be citizens of the US. For more information, please visit Zuckerman Fellows.
