Sponsored Student and Sponsor Invoicing Information

Many HKS students are able to obtain financial resources external of the school and Harvard University. These include employers, non-governmental organizations, government agencies, international organizations etc. All HKS students should report these outside resources to the Student Financial Services Office by using the Sponsor Verification Form.  This form will only be accessible once the student receives an offer of admission and have access to the HKS intranet.

Additionally, if the student would like their sponsor to be invoiced for tuition and/or mandatory fees (BC/BS, UHS and HKS Activity fee), the Harvard University Sponsored Billing Office (SBO) is able to send an invoice, if requested to do so. To request this service, students must please complete the Sponsor Verification Form accordingly.

Please note: sponsors will not be invoiced for course material fees, computer lab fees, housing charges (HPRE rental or dormitory) or other miscellaneous fees on the student term billing account. Students must arrange for the payment of these fees with sponsor directly.
