APPLICATIONS FOR "FAITH AND LEADERSHIP IN A FRAGMENTED WORLD" (IMM-006) MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN 12:00 NOON ON DECEMBER 2
UPDATE: NOTE: IMM-006 will now be called "Faith and Leadership in a Fragmented World" and registration will follow a slightly different process and schedule. Registration for IMM-006, sponsored by the Center for Public Leadership, will require applicants to answer a few brief essay questions. Details about the application will be available soon, and will be posted on this site. Since IMM-006 is the only Immersion Activity scheduled for the third week of January, it will not conflict with other offerings so students may register for IMM-006 in addition to any other Immersion Activity and/or all of the for-credit courses except API-506m and PED-501m.

Each year, the Office of Career Advancement, in connection with the Alumni Relations and Resource Development Office coordinates a networking event in New York and Washington, DC where hundreds of current students, alumni and major employers come together to discuss and celebrate careers in public service. Since these events occur after most courses and Immersion Activities have concluded, we strongly encourage interested students to take advantage of both opportunities.
January 20, 2010 Regional Networking: New York City
During the day, learn about the United Nations and its agencies, finance, local government, and Manhattan-based nonprofits — spend the evening in a formal networking reception with alumni.
January 21–22, 2010 Regional Networking: Washington, DC
Join panels during the day to learn about the World Bank, other development employers, Capitol Hill, and security organizations — spend the evening in a formal networking reception with alumni and DC-based hiring organizations.
For more information on these events, please watch the OCA website.
In addition to the courses, Immersion Activities, and career events listed above, we also want to draw students’ attention to some other activities available through Harvard in January:
