Provides a vehicle for an individual Policy Analysis Exercise on approved topics in housing and community development, transportation, and urban and regional economic development. Each student will prepare and present an original paper and also provide constructive criticism of others’ work. Typical issues for research are specific housing development or policy problems, community or neighborhood development initiatives, housing development incentives, tax incentives, transit and employment subsidies, land use planning, local business development, and the functioning of the low-income labor market.
Open to MPP2 students only.
