Out Sick

 

  • If you have to miss work due to yours or a dependent's illness, contact Kim (496-2231) or Jean (495-1320) each morning of your absence, preferably by 9:00 a.m.
    We will contact your faculty members and arrange for backup support as necessary. If your primary work is within a center, please contact your time approver within the center.
  • If you must take time off for a planned medical procedure, provide a doctor's note to Kim, Jean, or your center time approver showing the projected number of days for recovery.
  • If you are absent and have not contacted Kim, Jean, or your center time approver, we will attempt to contact you in the following order:
    1. Your home phone number
    2. Your listed emergency contact(s)
    3. Your faculty member(s)
    4. If no one can be reached after 3 days, Kim or the center human resources officer will send a letter to your home.
