Faculty assistants have the option of using the alternative process. Kim Harris and center executive director/administrator are available to assist with development and goals.

  • Regular Process:
    1. Assistant prepares/updates job description, self-appraisal including goals, and submits both to faculty.
    2. Faculty prepares a performance appraisal including individual goals for the assistant, review what that assistant has submitted, incorporate input as appropriate, and provide assistant with copy to review.
    3. Faculty and assistant schedule a meeting time to discuss the appraisal, goals for the next year, training and development to be pursued, and any other feedback for each other.
    4. Faculty revises performance appraisal, both sign the form, and submit with approved job description to Kim Harris, OHR by due date.
    5. Kim Harris reviews the appraisal, and contacts the faculty and/or assistant with any questions or for action items.
