He is now the executive director and associate professor of
NGO Research Center at School of Public Policy and
Management, Tsinghua University. Currently his research
focuses on two distinct subjects: NGO's participation in
crisis treatment, and the roles of NGOs in HIV/AIDS
prevention and control. LIU Qiushi received his Ph.D. in
sociology from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in
2003.
LIU Qiushi also serves as the member of Advisory Committee
of China Global Fund Programs, the Board member of Chinese
Association of STD&AIDS Prevention and Control, ISTR
(International Society for Third Sector Research), and
Beijing Youth Development Foundation.
