Ellen Levine comes to the
Hauser Center after working at Bechtel Corporation, a
global engineering organization, as a Human Resources
Administrator and Learning and Development Specialist.
Prior to her career in human resources, Ellen lived and
worked in Asia as an educator. At Beijing Medical
University, she developed and delivered cross-cultural
orientation training and taught English to Chinese medical
professionals in preparation for their entry and work in
the U.S. as Visiting Scholars. In Taiwan, she was an
Overseas Service Corps Volunteer EFL Teacher at the YMCA in
Taichung, as well as an Associate with the Institute of
Cultural Affairs in Taipei, a non-profit organization
involved in implementing methods of individual, community
and organizational development. Ellen has taught
multicultural classrooms at Boston University and Harvard
University Summer School. She is proficient in Mandarin
Chinese. She holds a Masters in Intercultural Management
from the School for International Training in Vermont, and
a BS in Psychology and a BA in Child Development from Tufts
University. Ellen is a program/staff assistant to both the
Nonprofit Incubator Program and the NGO Leaders Forum.
