The Hauser Center is aiming to increase its outreach, support and engagement with students across all the schools of Harvard who are interested in nonprofits and civil society through a new Student Engagement Initiative. For spring 2009 the Initiative launched a Student Advisory Board to counsel the Center on its outreach to and support of students. Hauser encourages students to apply to represent the voices, interests, and perspectives of students within their Harvard institution.
