Mid-Career Fellow (Humanitarian NGOs)
Ojobo was the Head of Programs & Policy for ActionAid International in Nigeria. Her work there focused on poverty eradication specifically working on human security in conflict and emergencies, women's rights, education, HIV/AIDS, food rights, and democratic governance. In 2005 she oversaw the establishment of the conflict and emergencies program overseeing work on violent outbreak of conflict in various places in Nigeria including the Niger Delta area and was privy to the progress of humanitarian work of ActionAid across its 45 countries. She oversaw ActionAid's response to floods around Nigeria in 2007. She has further overseen work done in the area of research on climate change impact and participatory vulnerability analysis on avian flu in Lagos, Nigeria and the establishment of a program on Enhancing Essential Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Care in Post Conflict and Internally Displaced Persons Communities in Nigeria.
