Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture and Lifeways
Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan

Providing a culturally relevant educational experience for the Tribe’s citizens and the general public, the Saginaw Chippewa’s Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture and Lifeways uses a multi-faceted approach to reinforce and validate Anishinabe identity and dispel stereotypes.  Through its award-winning Telling Our Story permanent exhibit, other changing exhibits, a research center, repatriation efforts, language immersion, workshops, and educational programming, this comprehensive effort is helping the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe reclaim its past and celebrate its present on Anishinabe terms.
