Fadi Farra, Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy, leads the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme which focuses on enhancing investment, competitiveness and private sector development in Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and Central Asia. The Programme includes supporting regional policy dialogue, advising countries on how to enhance their competitiveness and building capacity. It leverages the experience, key instruments and practices of the OECD countries.Mr. Farra is also a Chairman of the Advanced Manufacturing Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum, wiiting Scholar at Harvard University and lecturer at HEC Paris where he teaches Political Economy. Prior to joining the OECD, Mr. Farra worked in strategy consulting with the Boston Consulting Group and AT Kearney, where he was a Principal. Mr. Farra is a graduate from the London School of Economics (M.Sc. Management Economics), HEC Paris - Community of European Management Schools (M.Sc. International Management) and the Institut D'tudes Politiques dAix-en-Provence (M.A. Government). Mr. Farras interests and expertise are in private sector development and business climate enhancement policies. He is the author of several books and publications related to competitiveness, innovation and globalization. His latest publication, in collaboration with Harvard Business School, focuses on foreign direct investment strategies and policies for emerging markets (Globalisation Strategies: How to Crack New Markets). He is a regular conference speaker and commentator in world media. He is married to T. Farra and together they have four children.
