Ray Goldberg is George M. Moffett Professor of Agriculture and Business Emeritus at the Harvard Business School. His major research interests are: the impact of biotechnology on the food system; the changing structure of the domestic and global food system; and new vertical and horizontal coordinating machinery for the food system. Goldberg is coordinator of the university-wide Food Policy Group, made up of faculty from the Harvard Business School, Harvard Medical School, School of Public Health, Kennedy School, Harvard Institute for International Development, and Biochemistry Department. He is author, coauthor, or editor of 23 books, 112 articles, and more than 1,000 case studies on all aspects of positioning firms and governments in the global food system.
