Title IX Policies and Procedures

It is the goal of Harvard University to promote an environment that is free of sexual and gender-based harassment. Sexual and gender-based harassment is discriminatory, unlawful, denies respect for the rights and dignity of others, and is clearly inconsistent with the nature of an academic community. The University regards such behavior as a violation of the standard of conduct required of all persons associated with the Harvard community and such behavior is strictly prohibited. It is the intention of the University to take whatever action may be needed to prevent and correct behavior that violates this policy.
