The pursuit of a master's or doctoral degree requires an intense commitment of thought, time, and energy, which can be stressful for students. The Dean of Students Office (including the individual degree program directors and student services staff) works closely with students, faculty, and University resources to support the emotional and physical well-being of all students. Students are encouraged to connect with the Dean of Students Office around health and wellness concerns/questions.
Our students can enjoy the benefit of accessing a number of athletic facilities across campus. These facilities allow students to take some time away from the books to hit the gym, enroll in group exercise classes, and participate in intramural team sports.
Furthermore, all students have access to the University Health Services clinic for general healthcare needs. Services include primary care, internal medicine, mental health, and nutrition counseling. Students can also take advantage of the holistic services offered here, including massage and meditation.
