Are foundations “total scandals” in the words of Judge Richard Posner? Foundations are rarely held under normal electoral or market accountability standards, receive generous tax breaks, and have few transparency requirements. Phil Buchanan, Christine Letts, and Eric Beerbohm will serve as respondents.
