Cambridge, MA — John Edwards, the 2004 Democratic Party nominee for Vice-President, will address Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government on April 13. The speech, “Restoring the American Dream,” will begin at 6 p.m. in the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum, 79 JFK Street, Cambridge.
Edwards last appeared at the Kennedy School in October 2003 while he was running for the Democratic presidential nomination. He resigned his U.S. Senate seat to run for the White House after serving a single term (D-NC). His populist message drew widespread support in the primary, but he ultimately suspended his campaign after winning just a single state.
Reporters who wish to attend the event should contact the Kennedy School Communications Office at (617) 495-1115 to reserve space on the press riser.
