  • Deletion of your email messages and "M" drive documents
  • How to logon to the HKS intranet after graduation
  • How to access the HKS alumni web site
  • Your Lifetime Email Forwarding Account
  • Your Post Harvard E-Mail Address
  • Access to the computer lab after graduation
  • Graduating students who are remaining at HKS to work over the summer
  • JACK - Access to JACK (Jobs And Careers @ the Kennedy School)

Deletion of your E-mail Messages and M Drive Documents

Your E-Mail messages and all files on the "M" drive will be deleted July 5, 2009, However...

Using a computer in the lab, you may save all the files on your M drive to a CD or USB drive. If you are off campus, you may also access your M drive from the HKS Intranet (login required).

You can configure Outlook to download a copy of all the email and contacts on the server. Stop by the lab if you need help.

Please plan ahead and save important files before you leave in the end of June. Once files are deleted, there is no way to recover them. No extensions beyond the July deadline can be made.

2. Access to the intranet will be temporarily unavailable in early July while your student account is converted to an alumni account.

3. For technical help after the July Deadline go to http://www.post.harvard.edu or send questions to haa_alumnihelp@harvard.edu

Your affiliation with HKS doesn't end upon graduation. You will be joining a community of more than 20,000+ HKS alumni. This alumni network is a valuable tool to which you have access for your lifetime. Use it for personal and professional purposes and stay connected to your fellow alumni as well as the School.

You should have received an email from the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) which included a Post.Harvard registration link and an HAA ID number (required for registration).

You may change your forwarding address via the HKS Intranet at anytime, but after the July deadline, you must go to the alumni website. Remember, your lifetime address will only work if you keep the forwarding address up to date.
