Training

A variety of classes and workshops are scheduled at various times throughout the year. Check the calendars below for monthly topics:

  • IT workshops - open to both HKS Faculty/Staff and Students, this page displays a calendar of up-coming IT workshops
  • HKS Student Calendar - Student specific training is offered on the student calendar (among other non-technical student events).

Element K Online Computer Courses

We also offer Online Computer training for both Faculty/Staff and Students. Through our partnership with Element K, comprehensive online training is available for most common computer applications, such as MS Office, Excel, Front Page, etc. The lessons are step by step, and usually have more than one level for either an introduction or more advanced learning for an application

Students who wish to enroll in free Element K courses need to request an account from IT Services (link is an E-mail address).

After you request an Element K account, we will give you a username and password that will allow you to access the site for the first time (www.elementk.com). Please note that we process requests for new accounts once a week, so it may take several days for you to be notified that your account is active.

Harvard Hands-On Training Classes
