Limited opportunities exist for accomplished scholars, senior level policy-makers and practitioners from our region of focus to serve as Kokkalis Scholars at the John F. Kennedy School of Government for 1-9 month periods. Scholars should display leadership in their fields, a background of high accomplishment, and demonstrated experience working in or studying Southeastern Europe. During their tenure at the Kennedy School, Scholars devote their efforts to researching and producing a paper on a topic related to the region. Since funding is very limited, scholars who have not already secured funding for their research through other channels are not encouraged to apply.
