Jonathan Moore MPA 1957, KSG Fellow 1967, IOP Director 1974–1986 The longest serving director of the IOP, Moore is also a senior advisor to the United Nations Development Programme and a former U.S. ambassador to the UN.

“I came (to the IOP) for 5 or 6 years and stayed for 12 because it was too exciting to leave. There was so much opportunity…. You can exploit the assets of the scholarly side and the clinical side to improve the way we practice our politics and the way we understand our politics. For a while, there wasn’t anything I wanted to do more.”

Dan Glickman, IOP Director 2002–2004 An 18-year member of the U.S. House of Representatives and the secretary of agriculture from March 1995 until January 2001, Glickman has been president and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America, Inc. (MPAA) since September 2004.
