Submissions Guidelines

We look for topical, relevant and original, unpublished policy-oriented submissions including:

* Feature articles and commentaries that read less like academic papers and more like articles in the The New Yorker, with strong arguments and a compelling narrative

* Creative content, including photo essays, artwork, short fiction, and poetry, that have a policy angle but are creative and imaginative in expressing an issue and a story

* Short perspective pieces, including book reviews and opinion editorials

Submission proposals should be around 1-2 pages double-spaced, and include a summary of your argument, a description of work done to date or a plan for completing the article, a description of sources to be used, and your e-mail address and phone number.
