The Reynolds Foundation Fellowship and Leadership Opportunity in Social Entrepreneurship
The Fellowship will:
  • Provide Fellows an opportunity to enroll in a new Kennedy School course on social entrepreneurship, along with the opportunity to take other social enterprise courses across the University.
  • Create a strong link between the theory and practice of public service. Reynolds Foundation Fellows will be expected to participate in extracurricular praxes and/or summer internships related to the field of social entrepreneurship during the academic year or summer hiatus during a two-year program. The overall stipend provides financial support for these experiences.
  • Provide an extensive cocurricular program coordinated by the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School. For more details, click here.
  • Offer small gatherings with exemplary social entrepreneurs.
  • Create a growing network of students, faculty, and alumni/ae interested in the field, as well as periodic forums that bring this network together.
  • Offer participation in at least one field trip to observe some of the nation's best social entrepreneurs on site.
  • Fund an opportunity to compete for a new award for the best business plan for establishing a social enterprise upon graduation.
Reynolds Foundation Fellowships include tuition and health insurance fees for one year. Fellows will also receive a stipend of $22,400 for the academic year.
