The Library is giving away FREE Spring 2009 course packs
We have a limited number of packets for Spring 2009 courses that are freely available for your personal use.
To make distribution equitable you may only request one item. We have some complete sets of class packets and some individual packets.
Request a course pack online, and come to the library on or after Friday, May 29th to pick up your course pack(s).
The HKS library would like to offer students our archived course packs from Fall 2007 and Spring 2008. They will be available, first come first served, when the library opens at 8:30am on Friday May 22. Please bring your own bag if needed. Spring 2009 packets will be available soon, check back soon for another announcement.

The divergent paths of public and private employment have intensified a long-standing pattern: elite workers spurn public jobs, while less skilled workers cling to government work as a refuge from a harsh private economy. In this talk, John D. Donahue, Raymond Vernon Lecturer in Public Policy and Director of the Weil Program in Collaborative Governance at the Harvard Kennedy School, will analyze government’s isolation from the rest of the American economy and lay out the choices we have for narrowing, or accommodating, the divide between public and private work.
