Wires: Climate Change is a new electronic only Wiley publication that combines the formats of an online encyclopedia and journal. New and updated reviews on climate change are added every month. This publication is highly interdisciplinary and is one of the top-cited publications on climate change. Entries include editorial commentaries, opinions, topical views and focus articles with real world issues in climate change.

Published twice a year, Economics of Energy & Environmental Policy (EEEP), established as an IAEE publication in 2012, is a policy oriented journal.  It provides a scholarly and research-based, yet easily read and accessible source of information on contemporary economic thinking and analysis of policy issues in the interface between energy and environmental economics.

The Oxford Business Group provides in-depth reports for over 30 developing countries and emerging economies. Content is organized by country, geographic region and sector.  To access the database you must register for access using your Harvard email account. Reports are updated at least annually. Access to reports defaults to a read only view. Use your Harvard  email address as a password to enable PDF downloads and printing once you have registered for access to the database.

Sign up for Economic Updates for specific countries and regions. Economic Update emails are sent every 2-4 weeks and contains news on key sectors in that region.

The Africa Portal, an initiative of the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), is an open access digital resource that contains an online library collection of over 5,000 policy-related journal articles and publications relating to African policy issues. A directory of scholars and practitioners, a discussion blog, an opinion section features shorter-form commentary on policy issues in Africa and a calendar of international events is also included on the site.

The Directory of Open Access Books (DOAR) site is an award- winning web site that provides a searchable index for full-text Open Access academic monographs.  The DOAB site provides access  to peer-reviewed monographs and edited volumes published under an Open Access business model, with links to the full texts of the publications on the publisher’s website or repository. Produced by the OAPEN Foundation (Open Access Publishing in European Networks), the site is keyword searchable or can be browsed by title, subject or publisher. Over two hundred books are retrieved in full-text if you browse by the subject “Law and political science.” A significant number of books retrieved through the site are published in foreign languages including Dutch, German and Italian.
