Teaching Support
Research Instruction for Your Students
Research librarians are happy to work with HKS faculty to develop course related instructional sessions for students working in a particular subject area or on a specific project. The faculty member can choose whether we meet with students in the classroom, in section, or study group meetings. Designed in collaboration with faculty and teaching assistants, these sessions can include instruction in the use of print and electronic resources, including electronic data collections, and effective research techniques. Research librarians are also prepared to create various types of course related research and subject guides.
Instruction for your Faculty and Teaching Assistants
The HKS Library's research staff can help you and your assistants navigate the complex array of electronic and print research materials provided by the Harvard libraries. We can assist in identifying and locating research resources, formulating efficient search strategies, and locating specific facts and statistics. The research staff also offers individualized instruction for you and your assistants on various electronic information services.
