During the Spring 2011 semester, CSRI Director Jane Nelson and Steve Lydenberg of the Institute for Responsible Investment co-taught a course in Corporate Social Responsibility, which was open to HKS students, other Harvard graduate students, and students from institutions that offer cross-registration (such as Tufts or MIT). There are plans to offer the course again in Spring 2012, with CSRI Faculty Chair John Ruggie teaching alongside Jane Nelson and Steve Lydenberg. No courses on CSR specifically will be offered at the Kennedy School in Fall 2011.
At this time, the CSRI does not offer any degree/certificate programs.
At this time, the CSRI does not offer executive education programs, but we are looking to launch a program of this kind in the near future.
If you specifically seek to attend a course at Harvard, there is a Social Enterprise executive education program at Harvard Business School.
Though we frequently receive inquiries regarding the availability of paid consulting or paid/volunteer research positions, no such opportunities are available within the CSRI.
