United Nations Global Compact Office Launches a New Framework for Business Engagement with the United Nations

The UN Global Compact Office launched a new Framework for Business Engagement with the UN last week, on the occasion of the first UN Private Sector Forum on the Millenium Development Goals and Food Sustainability. The framework was developed by CSRI's Jane Nelson, and deals with how the private sector may effectively contribute to UN goals through their core business operations, social investments and philanthropy, and advocacy, policy dialogue and institutional frameworks.
