Admissions Process

Prospective Fellows to the Asia Programs apply to the M-RCBG Fellows Program upon encouragement by M-RCBG faculty or through their own inquiries. It is strongly suggested that applicants have M-RCBG faculty advising support for their proposed research. An admissions committee, including faculty and senior administrators, reviews all applications and makes final decisions on admissions.

The recruitment of Senior Fellows is accomplished through the efforts of a nominating committee comprised of M-RCBG faculty and senior administrators. Candidates are asked to complete the M-RCBG Fellows Application, which includes a research or project proposal as well as biographical information.

Application

** Those fellows who apply by April 1st (international applicants) or May 1st (domestic applicants) beginning September 1, 2006 for Academic Year 2006-2007 can expect an admission decision by July 2006.**

Applicants to the M-RCBG Fellows Program who wish to be considered for the Fall Term (September 1 through January 15) or the full academic year, should submit their applications by April 1 (international applicants) or May 1 (domestic applicants). Applicants for the Spring Term only (February 1 through June 15) should submit their applications by October 1 (international applicants) or November 1 (domestic applicants).

To download the application, Senior Fellows candidates click here and Asia Programs candidates click here. It is strongly preferred that you use the Microsoft Word version provided. If necessary, you may use the PDF versions (Senior Fellows applicationand Asia Programs application), but to do so you will need to have Adobe Reader installed.
