The Numbers
by Cara Helfner, MSLIS
| The Numbers is a periodic column of the Kennedy School
of Government's Health Care Delivery Policy Program that covers published statistics
on health care delivery and utilization. Articles present, explain and analyze
the often conflicting numbers cited in a wide variety of sources, from government
surveys to scholarly literature to newspaper reporting. We then use this data
to develop trends and comparisons. Researchers and policymakers can access these
articles to further their understanding of the statistics available to support
healthcare decision-making in the 21st Century United States. |
